Run!
Must run, and fast!
The chilling killing intent completely sobered Lisa.
She immediately turned around, and the puddle at her feet caused her to slip, making her fall with a thud.
Her whole body ached as she tremblingly pulled out a coin.
Fortunately... it was still heads.
She picked up the coin, scrambled to her feet, and fled towards the alley entrance.
“Help... help me...”
She wanted to scream for help, but her throat, raw from the revelry of strong liquor, suddenly began to ache.
Clutching the coin, she didn't dare to look down.
The rain started again.
Raincoat Man adjusted his collar and followed unhurriedly, a dagger appearing in his hand at some unknown point.
Cold rainwater dripped from the blade.
He had tasted the pain of many people, and he wasn't afraid that his "luck" would be weaker than his opponent's.
But what he didn't know was that in a compartment of a nearby hotel, someone was drinking coffee, observing everything through a mirror.
“The show has begun...”
“But without some ups and downs, how could it be good?”
Li Andy put down his teacup and snapped his fingers lightly.
Susan, wandering aimlessly at the alley entrance, suddenly caught a glimpse of a blurry, raincoat-clad figure in her peripheral vision.
“Who?”
The raincoat figure didn't speak, moving slowly forward, like a mirage's reflection.
Susan frowned, but still splashing through the water, she chased after the figure.
The safety on her gun was already off.
“Help... help me!”
At the same time, Lisa, with all her might, finally screamed out.
Susan's brows furrowed, she tore off her bothersome skirt, and, following the sound, she accelerated her sprint!
After several maneuvers, she burst onto the stage!
In the murky, dark alley, her gaudy attire now appeared magnificent, like a match striking in the darkness.
“Stop!”
“Put the knife down!”
She held her gun with both hands, aiming at Raincoat Man's back.
Raincoat Man's footsteps involuntarily halted.
On the other side, Lisa seized the opportunity and finally escaped the alley.
She tremblingly pulled out the coin, flicked it, and wept with joy.
Thankfully... it was still heads.
She didn't dare to delay, leaning against the wall, she continued to flee.
That person might die because of her, but she couldn't care!
If anyone was to blame, it was her bad luck!
“Sigh...”
Raincoat Man sighed softly, slowly turned around, and looked at Susan.
“It seems my luck isn't good enough.”
“So, can you compensate me?”
Susan's eyebrows shot up, and her index finger decisively pulled the trigger, but the moment she pulled it, the pistol misfired.
Raincoat Man sneered, splashing through the mud, and charged over.
Susan's pupils contracted sharply, and she hurled the useless pistol at him.
Raincoat Man's dagger sliced through the rain, cut through the pistol, and twisted its tip, aiming directly for Susan's throat!
In a flash, Susan raised her left hand, using her own dagger to parry his attack.
“Clang!”
The sound of cold weapons colliding echoed in the alley, then was swallowed by the rain.
Only the glass of a certain room continued to reflect this life-and-death struggle.
“Hey, Mom, I won't have misfires or jams.” On the table, Zorro proudly spun the cylinder.
“Shut up.”
Watching Susan gradually fall into a disadvantage, Li Andy couldn't help but frown.
Raincoat Man was most likely not the director, because he was too weak.
The director behind the scenes hadn't appeared, and he couldn't interfere too much with this play.
“Hmm... just make sure Susan doesn't die.”
He stroked his chin, turning his attention back to Black Alley.
Susan's combat skills were excellent; even five or six strong men would find it difficult to get close to her.
She dared to execute such a dangerous plan alone, of course, she had her reliance.
But this time, she felt like she was rolling in a quagmire.
All sorts of accidents and malice were constantly targeting her.
She used a clever move to parry Raincoat Man, preparing to spin and kick the man.
But the heel of her supporting foot suddenly broke, causing her attack to hit the wall.
Raincoat Man sneered as he plunged the dagger towards her thigh.
Although Susan quickly pulled her leg back, a long gash was still opened.
Blood merged with the rainwater, adding a hint of sweetness.
“It seems your luck isn't very good.”
Raincoat Man dodged Susan's counter-stab and leaped half a meter away.
“Luck?”
“The Hawks family never believes in fate!”
Susan lowered her center of gravity, reversed her grip on the dagger, her eyes incredibly firm, and initiated a charge!
Raincoat Man's pupils constricted sharply, staring intently as the slender figure shattered the rain curtain, and the silver blade cut through the raindrops, heading straight for his throat!
In an instant, he felt his mind go blank.
Can't dodge it!!
Am I going to die?
Can even fate not stop her?!
“Boom!”
A bolt of lightning struck above the alley entrance.
Bricks and tiles shattered, and a sharp shard flew towards Susan's temple!
In the nick of time, a pulling force on her clothes dragged her away from the line of death.
This also turned what should have been a mutual destruction into Raincoat Man receiving a shallow stab to the chest, while Susan fell into the mud and fainted from excessive blood loss.
The sharp pain assaulted Raincoat Man's brain, making him instinctively retreat a few steps, leaning against the wall and gasping for breath.
“Crazy woman!”
“She actually dared to trade her life for mine!”
He took a deep breath, tremblingly raised his dagger, and approached the unconscious Susan.
“Boom—!”
Suddenly, thunder exploded.
Raincoat Man witnessed the most terrifying scene of his life—
Susan's unconscious body slowly stood upright in a posture that defied logic.
Her wet, cold clothes seemed to be clenched by an invisible hand, forcibly dragging the lifeless girl to her feet.
It was as if some unseen strangeness had picked up a blood-stained puppet.
Raincoat Man suddenly remembered the person who gave him the coin, and thought of a certain mysterious circle in urban legends!
“Run!”
Only one instinctive reaction filled his mind at this moment.
“With the blessing of luck, I can't kill her, but I can definitely escape!”
He immediately turned and ran wildly towards the alley entrance! Ran wildly!
Only after rushing out of Black Alley did he feel the suffocating sensation gradually disappear.
In the original alley, the unconscious Susan floated slowly upward, like a hanged female ghost in red.
If someone had passed by and witnessed this scene, they would surely be scared into nightmares.
Li Andy opened the window and caught the unconscious Susan.
At this moment, the valiant female sheriff looked incredibly fragile.
The rain had already washed away her vulgar makeup, revealing a pale, delicate face due to blood loss.
The teacup on the table behind Li Andy suddenly trembled, bubbling muffledly:
“Ah~~ I really want to kiss her.”
“Shut up!”
