Chapter 59: Daowu Body Use

Chapter 59 Daowu Body Use Is this the result of a villain becoming arrogant when he succeeds? Whether they understood the whole story or not, few people present would think so. The vast majority of people would only spit on the old man and Chen Luhui who were knocked to the ground, curse them "they deserved it", and then give Tao Tie a thumbs up and praise him for his "good move". Anyone with a discerning eye can see that what Tao Tie has been doing in the past seven days is intentional connivance, setting a bait to fish, and looking for an opportunity to establish his authority? Huo Xiaochen, captain of Team 1 of Class A, and Li Qing, captain of Team 2, were equally dissatisfied with Tao Tie, the lucky deputy class leader. But how did they do it? One just watches from the sidelines and doesn't step out, while the other does his own thing and doesn't care. He neither approached Tao Tie nor went against him. When they noticed that something was wrong, they immediately expressed their harmless stance in their own way. There was only one person like the deputy governor Wu Kunlun, the captain of the fourth team, Qi Yuan, who was from the capital of Siming Prefecture and had no roots in Liuxian County, and who actively approached Tao Tie.

He expressed his true feelings time and again and took his side clearly. The old fellow who cursed "softie" was ok, but he just wasn't smart enough. Chen Luhui didn't know why he was so stupid. He had already taken the position of team leader, but he still used such a shameless trick and hit his head against a wall. Now my nose is broken! Chen Luhui felt so miserable that he couldn't express it. If he had a choice, he wouldn't want to be so stupid. Too bad he had no choice! He could only bring humiliation upon himself. First he was killed instantly by a sword, then he was trampled and humiliated. His spirit was completely gone and he was unwilling to struggle any more. Just lie down and let me play with you. This made Tao Tie feel a little bored. He did not continue to humiliate him. He raised his right foot and let Chen Luhui go. "that whoever……" Tao Tie waved his hand and shouted at the still bruised Tan Jinxuan, "Tan Jinxuan, send them to the Fa Cao and say that they are disrespectful and insulted their superiors. What I mean is that even if you can't just fire them and never hire them again, you should deprive them of their official positions and make room for someone who is polite and motivated." As he spoke, Tao Tie also raised his left foot. But, while lifting it, I accidentally slipped and crushed the chest of that abusive old man, breaking his sternum and several ribs. No internal organs were hurt. The injury is not serious and he will recover after some time. "So I am that person!" Tan Jinxuan muttered silently and wanted to cover his face, but finally resisted the urge, stepped forward, picked up the old man and Chen Luhui, and walked towards the law officer's duty room. But as a scholar, even if he studies the six arts of a gentleman and learns archery and chariot driving, his arm strength cannot compare to that of a martial artist. Carrying one person in each hand was a bit too much for Tan Jinxuan. It is inevitable that the person being carried will bump into some things, such as stones on the road or the threshold of a house.

I'm so sorry! With the background sounds of bang, bang, bang, bang, Tao Tie kept a gentle smile on his face and said to Mo Yuhan and Taoist Qingyun with an apologetic tone: "There was some discord within Class A. I am sorry to have embarrassed the two deputy class leaders." Then, Tao Tie turned around and waved his hand at the remaining thirty-four official inspectors of Squad A: "Disperse, disperse, why are you gathering here? It's unsightly." As soon as he finished speaking, Tao Tie left first. Don't worry about the impact of the previous scene. It was evening, time to get off work, and the party had just ended. This is the rule set by the headquarters of the Immortal God Department. Each branch office at all levels must hold a party before going off duty every day to gather all the staff together. Unless there are special reasons, all regular staff must attend. Mayor Huang Junshi dislikes formalism and bureaucracy. What is good from above must be followed by those below. The evening party at the Immortal Gods Division in Liuxian County was very brief. If you have something to say, just say it and then go your separate ways. Never waste time when there is nothing to do. Tao Tie took advantage of the fact that the party was over, the chief steward and three deputy chief stewards had already left, the three Caos had left first, and the third shift inspector was just about to leave, when he taught the old fox and Chen Luhui a lesson in public. The people from the law department had not gone far at this time. When they heard the noise, they stopped and watched the whole process. Tao Tie's words, "Even if we cannot dismiss them directly or never re-employ them, we must deprive these two of their official positions," were meant for the chief clerk in the law department to hear. Since you are already taking advantage of the tiger's power, then you should continue to take advantage of the tiger's power to the end! After leaving the Immortal Gods Office, Tao Tie finally found a good opportunity to establish some authority within Class A. From now on, he can work and practice with peace of mind. He doesn't need to be involved in intrigue, so he can't help but feel in a good mood. He returns to his mansion in Xicheng District. This is a courtyard house with three entrances and exits, and it was a gift presented by Chu Mingtu and several of his brothers. To congratulate Tao Tie on his appointment as deputy squad leader of the A squad of the Immortal Gods Division of Liuxian County. Tao Tie accepted the courtyard house, but not for free. Instead, he bought it at the full market price. Accepting affiliation with a business is one thing, but accepting gifts is another. The same is collecting money, The former pays for his name and may also have to work hard, which is the income from labor; The latter is somewhat close to the nature of bribery, and Tao Tie dare not accept it so comfortably. The courtyard is not far from the Xianshensi Yamen. Chu Mingtu bought the house several years ago, but he was always worried that his status did not match that of the previous one, so he did not dare to move in. We just send people to clean, repair and maintain it regularly. Tao Tie bought this courtyard house six days ago and has never stayed overnight here. In fact, the only one living here is Du Bo. "The master is back."

Du Bo, dressed in the classic attire of a butler, came up and greeted him warmly. After Chu Mingtu's intensive training over the past few days, although Du Bo's temperament, movements, expressions and way of speaking still have a strong sense of a mountain hunter, he finally has the appearance of a butler. "Ah." Tao Tie responded indifferently and gave a look. Du Bo understood and a hint of joy flashed across his face. He hurriedly followed Tao Tie from the back house through the front yard and the main yard to the back yard. There is a small but well-equipped martial arts arena here. Many times, when people deal with each other, there is no need to make things too clear, as long as each other understands what they mean. Ever since Lulu, the golden monkey he had raised for some time, revealed his true identity as the mountain ghost of the Eight Immortals Mountain, Du Bo knew that the turning point in his life that he had been waiting for most of his life had finally come. Chu Mingtu's initiative to come to him and Mr. Tao's sincere acceptance of him as his housekeeper made Du Bo realize that if he seized this turning point, he might be able to eliminate the resentment and frustration he had felt for most of his life. Hard work, God will not let you down! Sure enough, starting from the second day after moving into this courtyard house, Mr. Tao, oh no, it was Master Tao who would take some time out every day to teach him martial arts! It's not the kind of perfunctory teaching that just throws away a manual of martial arts, but the kind of teaching that explains the basics of martial arts bit by bit in detail! One-on-one private training is what many people dream of but often cannot get! Chu Mingtu was right. Du Bo was a person who was unwilling to live a mediocre life. Now that he finally has a chance to change his life and no longer be mediocre, Du Bo must certainly seize it. So Du Bo studied very hard. Even if you don't understand, you should listen carefully. Whether you can understand it or not is not important for the moment, what is important is whether you can remember it or not! Du Bo was determined to remember it even if he had to memorize it by rote! Where there's a will, there's a way! Du Bo believed that he would eventually achieve something. And if he could really learn martial arts successfully, Master Tao would be like giving him a new life. From now on, whenever the master needs anything, I must repay this favor. However, deep down, Du Bo did not think that he could repay the favor on his own. According to what he had heard from a monk in a certain temple before, the cause and effect of this matter would probably fall on the mountain ghost! Du Bo actually knew in his heart that he was not important to Master Tao. The important thing is the mountain ghost! But what does it matter whether it is important or not? Will it delay your martial arts training? No delay! "Stand still." Arriving at the small martial arts training ground in the backyard, Tao Tie went straight to the point and gave an order directly. Du Bo immediately "obeyed the order" and started with the Wuji style, then the Taiji style, the Liangyi style, and the Sixiang style, and finally the Santi style standing practice. Tao Tie walked around Du Bo, observed him carefully from all angles, and nodded with satisfaction.

Although there are still some flaws, Du Bo has really put in a lot of effort and his standing meditation has become quite good. If you continue to maintain this momentum and improve for two to three months, you may be able to learn Xingyiquan. This judgment made Tao Tie fall into deep thought. After accidentally discovering that Xingyiquan was effective in exploring the physical abilities corresponding to the nose, tongue, and lips, Tao Tie began to have some doubts about the dual cultivation of Taoism and martial arts. These days, while he was busy with the work of the Immortal God Bureau and teaching Du Bo Xingyiquan, he was also thinking about these doubts, reading materials and looking for answers. Tao Tie's judgment on Du Bo's progress in martial arts training gave him some inspiration for thinking about these doubts. Tao Tie's thinking at this time was to try to grasp these inspirations and get some results. As we all know, there are five mainstream paths of extraordinary cultivation for the human race: Confucianism, martial arts, Taoism, Buddhism, and witchcraft. Before Taizu of Dayong suddenly "made his debut", ended the last round of catastrophe and founded the Dayong Dynasty, the ranking order was actually Taoism, Buddhism, witchcraft, martial arts, and Confucianism. Why is there this change? the reason is simple. Because before the Danding School developed vigorously, Taoist practice valued spiritual roots, Buddhist practice valued spirituality, and the practice of witches required gods or immortals willing to accept offerings. Be it spiritual roots, spirituality, or offerings to gods and immortals, they are all thresholds that are difficult for ordinary people to cross, like natural barriers. If there is, there is, if there is not, there is not. The Confucian and Martial Arts schools are different from the Taoist, Buddhist and Witch schools; although there are thresholds for their practice, they are extremely low. Easier to get started and more popular! Therefore, since Taizu, successive emperors of the Dayong Dynasty have respected Confucianism and promoted military power, respected Confucianism, promoted military power throughout the country, and forcibly developed Confucianism and military power to its peak, pushing them above Taoism, Buddhism, and witchcraft. The trend of the times is rolling in. The Taoist and Buddhist sages would never allow their own traditions to be abandoned by the trend of the times. Knowing that we cannot resist the trend of the times, we should not resist it, but adapt to it, make reforms and establish innovations, and actively respond. Since the Celestial Empire revered Confucianism and promoted military power, Taoism and Buddhism played to their "specialties" and learned from Confucianism and martial arts, taking their "essence" and discarding their "dross". Let’s not talk about Buddhism for now. The Danding School, which already has a profound historical heritage within Taoism, has since welcomed a great opportunity and has grown rapidly. In particular, the internal alchemy system draws on many ideas of external alchemy. The "100-day foundation-building" program of using martial arts to enter Taoism is arguably the most fruitful achievement in the development and reform of the Neidan Taoist system! Before I elaborate on why this achievement is the most fruitful, I must first have a deep and clear understanding of two concepts that are easily and currently confused: "Realm" and "cultivation". Before Taizu of Dayong established the nine-grade system, the two concepts that were commonly used were "realm" and "cultivation". After Taizu of Dayong established the Nine-Rank System, the word "Taoxing" was mentioned less and less, and as time went by, it was almost completely replaced by "cultivation", a concept created by Taizu for the Nine-Rank System. The so-called realm is the level of practice, which is distinguished by "quality" and measured by "quantity".

The so-called cultivation seems lofty, but in fact, at the beginning it simply refers to the amount of mana/true energy, and is divided into grades from ninth to first based on the "quantity". Therefore, the idea of several levels of realm has always been wrong. The correct way to say it is one's level of cultivation! For example, Tao Tie is now a cultivator who possesses the amount of mana corresponding to the eighth-grade upper cultivation level. If we use the traditional "realm", how should we describe Tao Tie's progress in practice? In tradition, Confucianism, martial arts, Taoism, Buddhism, and witchcraft are all divided into five realms. In Confucianism, “there are five types of people: mediocre people, scholars, gentlemen, sages, and saints.” They are mediocre people, scholars, gentlemen, sages, and saints. In martial arts, they are strong men, warriors, heroes, masters, and the best. In Taoism, there are the Taoist boys who "build the foundation", the Taoist priests who "refine essence into qi", the Taoist chiefs who "refine qi into spirit", the Taoist immortals who "refine spirit and return to emptiness", and the Taoist masters who "refine emptiness and merge with Tao". In Buddhism, it is shamanera/shamanini, monk/bhikkhu, self-awareness/right awakening/arhat, self-awareness, full awakening/samarahidharma/bodhisattva, self-awareness, awakening of others, perfect awakening and practice/supreme right awakening/Buddha. In wu, they are assistant priests, officiating priests, main priests, clan priests, and chief priests. So according to the traditional "realm" classification, Tao Tie is now a "Taoist priest" who refines essence into qi. After understanding the concepts of "realm" and "cultivation", you will find that Confucianism, martial arts, Taoism, Buddhism, and witchcraft have always been equal. The initial stage of martial arts practice: strongman, equality; the initial stage of Taoism practice: "foundation-building" Taoist boy. Those with spiritual roots practice Taoism. If they follow the path of the talisman school, their "foundation building" starts with receiving the "Taishang Sanwudugong Sutra" with their spiritual roots, and then practicing step by step, and being awarded the "Zhengyi Mengwei Sutra", and then the "Shangqing Wulei Sutra", and then the "Shangqing Sandong Wulei Sutra", and finally the "Shangqing Dadong Sutra", and finally ascend to the true immortal; If one follows the path of the Dan Ding School/Inner Alchemy, the "foundation building" of the Taoist boy begins by "attaining the orifice" with the spiritual roots, then practicing step by step, collecting herbs and refining oneself, harmonizing the five energies, taking Kan to fill Li, refining the spirit to return to emptiness, and returning to the Wuji. According to the original logic, those who have no spiritual roots cannot practice Taoism. But the Taoist Danding School/Inner Alchemy School’s “sexy” moves are coming. The ancient sages thought that those with spiritual roots "laid the foundation" of inner alchemy so that the spiritual roots could "gain the orifice". The so-called "orifice" refers to the mysterious orifice, which is the innate ancestral orifice that everyone has. The "wise men" who have spiritual roots are born with enlightenment, while the "fools" who do not have spiritual roots are born with obscurity. In this case, if we can create a method that can allow those “fools” without spiritual roots to open the mysterious gate, wouldn’t it be possible to “build the foundation” and enter the Tao? The reason why the practice of inner alchemy requires the opening of the mysterious gate is that alchemy regards essence water, divine fire and intention earth as supreme treasures, with divine fire as the tool, intention earth as the body, and essence water as the foundation. Roughly translated, it means using divine fire to refine the essence of the mind and earth to create a golden elixir. Tao Tie jokingly called it "boiling water" to amuse himself. Starting from this perspective, the predecessors of Neidan Dao thought about it for a while and then drew inferences from one instance to another, and came up with the method of entering the Dao through martial arts and building the foundation in a hundred days. In fact, it is just a simplification of the method for those with spiritual roots to "obtain the orifice" and lay the foundation, and then add a prefix of guiding and opening the orifice. After all, the initial stage of martial arts training: the strongman, is to temper the body in the order of skin, flesh, tendons, bones, blood, marrow, and internal organs. Transform the mortal, ignorant, and rootless body that is as thick as mud and sand into steel, iron, and concrete!

Since flesh, like mud and sand, can be hammered into concrete, it can certainly be cleaned and eliminated, pounded to exhaust the air, and molded into a purple clay teapot with a leak-proof bottom and belly, which can be filled with water from the mouth and boiled. In this way, Wu has actually deviated from his original intention and has taken a "wrong path". One is rough, the other is delicate. One is strong, the other is weak and brittle. "so……" After thinking about this, Tao Tie finally understood why there were so many people like Du Bo who were unwilling to be mediocre, and who neither became practitioners of Confucianism, Taoism, Buddhism, or witchcraft, nor embarked on the path of martial arts. Because they themselves have no spiritual roots, and in their youth when their bodies are most malleable, they took the delicate and fragile "forked path" of using martial arts to enter the Tao and building a foundation in a hundred days. As a result, not only did he fail to gain enlightenment, but he also made his body weak and missed the best opportunity to hammer it into steel, iron and concrete. If you fail to enter Taoism through martial arts, and then want to turn around and practice martial arts seriously, you will miss it forever. Not only can it not be hammered into steel bars, iron frames or concrete, it can also easily shatter your own body! This is what is meant by "not being able to reach high, not being able to settle low, not being able to go up, not being able to go down." But now that Du Bo has the opportunity to succeed in martial arts again, it is a different situation. This situation is called a chance sent from heaven! How could a method that could tame a mountain ghost that possessed divine nature be useless? Sorry! This chapter expands on some of the settings for the practice system. It is a bit long-winded and boring. It's all patchwork and nonsense. It is so far-fetched and ridiculous. Boss, don’t take it to heart!   (End of this chapter)
